Previous editions

The Kunstraffinaderij organization already has several successful Arts Fairs to its name. The first edition took place in 2011 in the former press hall of the Gelderlander. Two editions followed in 2012 and 2013 in the Stevenskerk and the edition in September 2013 was in the Honig complex, where Kunstraffinaderij helped kick-off the influx of the many great initiatives that can now be found there. The following editions were organized in the Stevenskerk in May 2016 and November 2017. The successful edition of 2019 had the theme Buiten Beeld.

About 60 visual artists present their work during the 3-day events. In addition, there is a broad stage program where artists from different disciplines give a performance, such as dance, theater and music.

Press hall Gelderlander

In 2011, the first successful edition of Kunstraffinaderij was realized by a team of artists in the former press hall of the Gelderlander. The building with an industrial character turned out to be a perfect location for Kunstraffinaderij. It was extremely exciting to realize this event and the organization was overwhelmed by the enormous success with a visitor number of 3000 people.

In the spring of 2012 and 2013, Kunstraffinaderij was presented in the Stevenskerk. Art comes into its own in this classic ambiance with white walls, high space and stately columns.

In May 2016, the art fair was organized around the theme Op Hoogte. A large scaffolding stage was built in the Stevenskerk where art Op Hoogte could be experienced.

In November 2017, Kunstraffinaderij De Verbinding was looking for. In addition to the presentation of 70 visual artists, special activities were organized for the elderly and children.

The fourth edition was held in the Honig complex in September 2013. The Brinta department had been swept clean and 30,000 m2 of space was available for art. Seventy artists have presented their work here. There was a large covered terrace with an extensive music program and children could follow an art route by bicycle in the gigantic complex, allowing them to experience the art objects in their own way. A few artists have seized the opportunity to organize a solo exhibition or to present a retrospective.
